Why it is being built this way
Most assistants sit beside the work: context is retyped, actions are opaque, and one provider decides capability, latency, privacy, and cost.
- Start from the task and context the person explicitly permits.
- Make planning, permissions, tool choice, and history readable.
- Route each step to a model by capability, latency, privacy, and cost.
- Content is not used to train models, on any plan.
Labs roadmap
Sequenced by state, not by date
Published as order and status rather than quarters. Work moves to shipped only when someone outside the team can use it.
- Now: visual context engine, permission-aware action layer, multi-provider routing, activity record.
- Next: private early-access build, keyboard and voice parity, granular privacy controls, public documentation.
- Later: on-device routing research, personal workflow memory, developer extension interface, paid plans and accounts.
- Labs work is exploratory and may be dropped; removals are published with the reason.

The public website workspace is free, and there is no checkout or subscription. Future tiers describe intent only.

Marks and how to use them
Two marks are available for editorial use: the iMpact mark and the ORION mark, both SVG.
- iMpact mark: /impact-mark.svg · ORION mark: /orion-mark.svg
- Keep clear space around a mark equal to the height of its shortest stroke.
- Do not recolour, stretch, rotate, outline, or add effects to a mark.
- Do not imply endorsement, partnership, or investment by iMpact.
- Screenshots of an unreleased build are not distributed; nothing may be presented as a shipped product.
What this kit deliberately leaves out
- No user numbers, revenue, funding, valuation, customer, partnership, or award figures — none exist to report.
- No release date, and no generally available ORION build.
- No team headcount or biography beyond what is published on the About page.
- Performance figures are not quoted, because none have been independently measured.
