What ORION AI is
ORION is an artificial intelligence assistant built around one idea: you should always see what it plans to do before it does it. Instead of a black box that acts on its own, ORION shows its reasoning as a numbered plan you can read, edit or reject.
iMpact is the company that builds ORION. The two names belong together: iMpact is the parent company, ORION is the product.
What ORION AI can do today
Everything listed here works now, for free, on this website:
- AI task planning: describe a goal and get a structured, multi-step plan generated live.
- Confirmed actions: navigate pages, switch theme and language, search the site and copy links — each only after you confirm.
- Saved plans and a local activity history you can export or clear at any time.
- Clear capability limits: ORION tells you when something is not possible yet instead of pretending.
What is still in development
Computer-wide automation, controlling other apps, account access, sync across devices and voice are on the roadmap. They are not available yet, and ORION will not claim to do them. The public roadmap lists what is live, in development and planned.
How ORION approaches human-in-the-loop automation
Human-in-the-loop automation means a person stays in control of every meaningful step. ORION follows four rules: show the plan, ask before acting, do one visible step at a time, and keep a readable record afterwards.
This makes ORION slower than a fully autonomous bot on purpose. The trade is trust: you always know what happened and why.
